Day 95

SHE DID IT!!!!!

I was so very nervous for her!  I was afraid she'd be afraid & mess up.  I was worried about how embarrassing it would be for her mommy to drive her to school when everyone knew she was late 'cause she was taking her test.  She did great.  The DMV people are alot nicer than they were when Scott & I were young!!!  The instructor who took her out was way cool.  Even gave her sunglasses to help her w/the glare!!  I'm soooo proud of her.  And a little freaked!  When did I get old enough to have a kid that drives?!?!?

After the DMV, she drove me home  & took off for school.  Talk about freaky, watching your baby drive away.  I did NOT cry, although I wanted to!!!  She called me when she got to school.  She said it was weird for her too; first time she'd been in a car ALONE and had no one to talk to!!!

Day 94

The day before she becomes a licensed driver.  I made her go fill the car up.  While she was filling the tank, I took this pic of her.  I think it's a great pic of her!!  The red glow behind her is the traffic light.  WHY it's so big, I have NO IDEA.  LOL

Day 69

Today is Hannah Winberry's Birthday.  Becca decided that she needed a cake so she made her one.  All by herself.  I helped w/the icing & the sprinkles!  Hmmmm, Becca's never made ME a cake!!  Now I KNOW she knows how so, next time I want a cake, I'll make HER make it for me!!!

Day 43

Poor Becca.  She's been sick for two weeks.  I took her to the doctor on Monday.  She's got nothing but a cold.  But, she's just miserable.  I called & they sent her an antibiotic on Thursday.  3 days on it & she's STILL feeling bad!!  I'm taking her back tomorrow.  There is a case of whooping cough at school.  I'm a little scared now!!

Day 4

The boys have basketball practice or a game every night but Wednesday.  When they have a game, we usually just get to go home only to return an hour or so later.  But, on practice days, I still have to pick Becca up at 3 and then return to get the boys at 5.  Too little time to really drive home so we hang at McDs.  I LOVE McDs Diet Coke & Becca loves the Orange HiC.  We bring our books or computers or iPods or homework & just hang.  I actually like the forced down time.  I can't clean, cook or do laundry.  I can, if I've prepped properly work on swaps or read or surf.  It's rather nice!

Today, I was sitting around snapping pics.  What will be my pic of the day???  I took pics of the restaurant, the backs or people, the texture of the seats.  Then, I turned the camera on Becca.  I was rewarded w/half a dozen adorable shots of her.  She looks so sweet and SO GROWN UP!!!  Love you Boo!!!
