Day 55

Jack is OBSESSED w/this basket.  It's wear we put the newspapers & various other paper products before Nick takes them down for recycling.  If there are only a few things in the basket, he'll knock it over, pull the things out & lay down in there.  Today is 'garbage day' (which is weird since the garbage man doesn't come until tomorrow.  LOL  They come VERY early in the morn so Nick takes the trash out the day before) so Jack got to jump in the empty basket.  Silly Kitty!!

Day 54

It's getting late & I have no picture for the day.  Nick begs me to take a pic of his Little Big Planet game.  I have NO IDEA what all this means!  It's a bunch of Santas & Sack Boy wearing a disco suit!  Alrighty then.

Day 53

It's only February.  Is it normal for trees to start budding this early?  Or is it cause of that warm weather last week?  If so, we're in TROUBLE 'cause the warm is done!  They are even talking snow flurries for the end of the week!!

Day 52

The kids & I were hanging in the living room when Nick noticed a squirrel on the deck.  I told them by the time I got my camera & opened the door, I was sure he'd be gone.  But, he stayed & even turned so I wasn't stuck w/a pic of his butt!!!  You can even see he has a nut in his mouth.  I love my camera!!!!

Day 51

Ok, I'm cheating here.  I didn't take a pic today.  Guess nothing happened today???  Anyway, I took this pic last week during the (nearly??) full moon.  I used Becca's tripod & the no flash mode.  I think I could get a better pic once I know how to use the settings.  Still turned out fairly cool.......

Day 50

I don't want to say that the Mills mall is in the sticks but.....this tractor was parked in the lot outside the mall.  LOL  There IS a Cabellas in that mall.  LOL

Took the kids to the Mall in St Peters, MO tonite.  (Scott went to play cards w/his Mom, Aunt & Uncle!)  The Borders at that mall is closing and Becca wanted to go get books at 20% off plus an extra 10%!!!  She got 4 books, Nick & I got one & I picked up 3 baseball magazines for Scott at 40% off!!  Then we walked (we had such an AWESOME parking place and planned on coming back to the mall later) to the Chilis that just happened to be on the other side of the parking lot!  After a YUMMY dinner (out waitress had the kitchen make special Chicken Bites for the kids!) we went back & did more shopping.  Becca got clothes from American Eagle & Nick got some from Hollister.  I got ROCKS!!! 

We left the mall at 8:25.  I called the Archivers about 15 minutes away & they confirmed they closed at 9!  Dang, I even had a coupon!!!  We decided to drive past the Mills on the way, just to see what time we could make it by.  We got to the mall at 8:45.  I RAN to Archivers w/Becs while Nick stopped at the book store there.  Was able to pick up a new TH Die & check out before 9pm!! 

Hit a McDs on the way home for sodas!!  GOOD Saturday Night!!!

Day 49

It's been so warm that we have the sliding glass doors & a few windows open.  Somehow, Jack knocked the screen from the downstairs slider out & ESCAPED!!!  (I guess we should be happy that no one else came IN thru the open door!!!)  Scott went out & looked & Nick went out & searched the neighborhood but we couldn't find the little weasel!!  He's gotten out before & he usually comes back about 10am the next day.  We leave the garage door cracked & he can get in  & get to his food/water/litter.  Well, since the doors were open, Becca heard him crying to get in about 10:30pm!!!  Scott brought him in & locked him in the laundry room (and closed the garage door!) 'cause he has to have a bath before he can rejoin the "family".

We bathed him this morning.  Poor little drowned rat.  You'd think, as he HATES baths soooo much, he'd stop going out, knowing he'll get another one when he gets back.  I guess he's not that smart?  Silly Kitty!
