Day 128

Happy Mother's Day!!!

As per tradition, we went to Pasta House for free spaghetti & cheese cake.  Oh was it all YUM!!!!  Scott bought me a set of Ippity Stamps (thanks Angie!!) and an Achiver's Gift Card.  Yea!  Now I can buy the Smash book when it comes out!!!  This is the gift the kids' got me!  Don't you love Becca's wrapping paper?  It's one of my old work aprons.  And, inside?  I Alton Brown cookbook.  YEA!!!!  I can't wait to read it & try some recipes!!!

Day 98

Went out to run some errands (and realized I hadn't left the house in 2 days!!  Plus side of having another driver!!!) and saw these tiny petals on my car.  I thought they looked so pretty.  Of course, they're probably whats making me sneeze too!

Day 67

Busy day, ended it at Walmart.  Our new Walmart is WEIRD.  There is rarely anyone there, the shelves are empty & it's seems soooo small!  Why on earth build a Walmart if you're gonna make it tiny.  But, since no one is there; I guess size isn't an issue???  Anyway, there was a boy, probably in his very early 20s, wearing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle PJ pants.  I was dying to take his pic & got my camera out.  Took random pics of everything but couldn't get one of him.  So, here's the only candy I'm allowed.  While it is good it's still not a Snicker's Bar.  I'd LOVE a snickers!!!!

Day 39

Tonite is Senior Night.  The graduating basketball players are celebrated and give speeches about their year(s) at Bethel.  I was VERY excited for tonite as these are the seniors I "know".  Caleb started at Bethel the same year Becca started and I got to work with Jeremy last year when I was filling in for Rhonda.  Matt is new this year but I've gotten to see him play all year. 

As luck would have it Becca's sick.  We went to the game but she was just miserable.  I had to take her back home before any of the festivities started.   I did get this pic of the boys but didn't get to hear their speeches or, more importantly GET ANY CAKE!!!  LOL

Scary thought: in a year & a half, it will be Becca having her Senior night in volleyball.  YIKES!!!

Day 8

One of the cardinals in my back yard.  I don't know why the color is so washed out.  Maybe 'cause I zoomed too far???  There are about 4 cardinal families living out back and at least one blue jay & a woodpecker.
